Meet the Neighbors Podcast was formed when two guys, Michael Lall and Bobby Jaynick, decided they had been playing it too safe. It is easy to ignore your neighbors and pretend that they aren’t there. It is much more difficult to go knock on their door and say “hey, I’d like to get to know you.” All humans desire connection and community, but all humans aren’t bold enough to seek this out. Someone has to go first, and we decided it was our duty to be those people. The format is ever changing and fluid, much like life itself but the goal is the same; meet as many people as we can and allow them to have a platform to share who they are with the rest of the world. Although we aren’t against having them as guests, we don’t seek out celebrities specifically. We want to hear from people no matter their financial or social status and learn what success means to them, what makes them happy, and what their goals are in life. Through this we find that although we are different, we are way more similar than we initially imagine.
